Principal Cyber Engineer (TS/SCI w/FSP Required)

Job Title Principal Cyber Engineer Location On‑site, Columbia, MD Responsibilities Support and field critical customer‑driven requirements using Linux and scripting expertise. Engage directly with customers to provide advanced design, analysis, and implementation of Everfox and non‑Everfox technologies. Review, analyze, and define requirements, design integrated solutions, and implement across multiple disciplines. Perform formal security and functional testing and troubleshoot on‑site technical issues. Design and implement failover capabilities, validate interoperability with enterprise components. Provide technical briefings to customers and Everfox corporate leadership. Administer training, troubleshooting, and on‑site/remote support to customers. Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with full‑scope polygraph. 8+ years of experience as a cyber engineer supporting enterprise software solutions. Strong experience in Linux and scripting. Excellent communication skills for relaying technical information. Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers). BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent. DODI 8570.1‑M compliance at IAT Level I; SANS GSEC, CISSP preferred. Nice to Have Experience with Cross Domain solution design and architecture. Knowledge of virtualized and networked environments. Strong verbal and technical writing skills. Experience integrating security COTS products (firewall, web gateway, DLP). Documentation for Assessment and Authorization. Application of current IA policies in secure solution design. Work Schedule & Travel Full‑time, Monday‑Friday. 10% domestic travel. Salary & Benefits Base salary range: $183,600 - $221,600 USD annually.
