Sr Accountant

Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization and help lead day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting cycles, supporting audits, and providing leadership to the accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, and audit preparation
• Analyze financial data and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency
• Supervise and support accounting staff while maintaining compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting initiatives

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting experience required
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
• Strong General Ledger experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with ERP systems such as Vista View, Spectrum, or Foundation Accounting Software is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
