Radiology - X-ray Tech

Rad Tech - General Imaging

This position requires a skilled radiologic technologist specializing in general imaging. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center and provides high-quality patient care. The imaging unit has a total of 5 diagnostic rooms, along with facilities for fluoroscopy and other procedures. The average patient load is 15-20 patients per technician per day. Candidates should have experience with surgery and procedures, as well as general imaging skills. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required, along with a comfortable approach to working with a range of patient ages. A state license and current certifications are mandatory for this role. The working environment is fast-paced and includes a high acuity of patients. Team support includes lead technicians and on-site radiologists available 24/7. The department uses advanced imaging technology and electronic medical records systems. There is a rotating weekend schedule, with on-call responsibilities once a week. Holiday coverage is also expected at least once during the contract duration. Candidates must be able to adapt to flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.
