Microsoft Azure Solution Architect

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement• Point person for Azure Managed Solutions, standalone or as part of a larger NTT DATA managed service engagement.• Work with the GTM sales teams and technical specialists to pre-qualify opportunities, position our capabilities, and customize our solution as needed• Assess and capture business requirements for solution and convey into functional infrastructure, solutions and components• Evaluate pre-production infrastructure construct and performance prior to customer review/hand off• Review final performance of solution with customer, accountable for translating any change requests into technical requirements and work with delivery personal to implementService Innovation, Vision and Roadmap Development• Translate components into framework for automation templates, must have the ability to communicate this with DevOps/Engineering• Understand and champion cloud lifecycle management, help evolve the business to expand this footprint• Needs to understand scripting for public cloud and automation, will support template builds as bandwidth/urgency permits or requiresMicrosoft Azure Subject Matter Expert• Internal and external SME for Microsoft Azure based solutions• Serve as a final escalation point for technical issues/challenges• Compare benefits and tradeoffs of Azure solutions to alternative platforms (traditional infrastructure, private cloud, or Azure/GPC) • Incorporate migration, ongoing management / optimization, and solution integration to ensure customers maximize their value from their Azure based platformBasic Qualification• 3+ years of experience designing Microsoft Azure architecture • Azure Solution Architect certified (Exam 70-534)• Ability to define customer requirements and transpose into cloud architecture• Experience working with DevOps/systems integration to ensure delivered project aligns with SOW and customer requirements• Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure, IaaS and managed services. Must be an expert in networking, compute, storage and identity and management• Expertise with Azure or AWS software development kits (SDK) and CLI, including CloudFormation/Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates• Strong communication and presentation skillsPreferences• 5+ years of traditional solution architecture experience• Experience working with or architecting AWS • Familiarity with automation and script development processes, supported by working knowledge of JSON, NodeJS, Python, Java, and/or C# - expertise/experience preferred • Familiarity with complementary cloud migration/cost management tool sets, i.e. Cloud Endure, CloudAmize, or similar• Environment discovery protocols experience preferredPosting Date:Department: -
