Unify is a CPA firm that provides ongoing strategic business advice to clients on a subscription basis. Role Summary This is a non‑traditional Staff Accountant role focused on client financial processing, tax returns, and ongoing business strategy. Responsibilities Assist with processing client financial information Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations Assist with client projects Prepare sales tax returns Prepare 1099s Prepare general correspondence and reports Qualifications Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred At least three years of experience in full‑charge bookkeeping, with general knowledge of payroll and sales taxes Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Office products Strong aptitude for figures and problem‑solving Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Love for serving small businesses and their teams Not a Good Fit For Applicants Who Aren’t able to do accounting tasks with minimal oversight Create or experience a lot of workplace drama Approach new ideas, clients, team members, or technologies with skepticism or pessimism instead of seeing potential Do not know how to speak with a confident, professional voice to instill customer confidence Compensation $40,000 – $65,000 annualized, depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Unify CPA & Payroll
