Description A/R Accounting Clerk Spherion Gainesville, FL seeks an A/R Accounting Clerk, for a client, to perform clerical and bookkeeping tasks, and apply accepted accounting procedures to record maintenance. Let’s get to work! Type: Temp to Hire Location: Alachua, FL Schedule: FT, M-F, 8am - 4:30pm Salary: $18/hr. Responsibilities: Manage AR invoicing and related paperwork (per policy). Serve as primary contact for all customer AR inquiries; develop/maintain relationships for timely collections. Maintain required files (per policy and legal requirements). Post customer payments and reconcile accounts with collections. Assist with basic AP duties as needed. Qualifications Requirements: AS/AA in Finance or related field preferred, or minimum 1-year of experience in lieu of education. Knowledge of Florida and interstate sales tax legal requirements. Skills: Working Conditions/Physical Effort: Occasional walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing. Must occasionally lift/move up to 15 lbs. Specific vision abilities needed: close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Must tolerate extended periods of sitting/computer work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
