Registered NurseJob Title: Registered NurseProfession: NursingSpecialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery ICUDuration: 13 weeksShift: NightHours per Shift: 12Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience required.License: RN license required.Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required.Must-Have: Experience and knowledge of a CVVH machine required. Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting.Description: Evening/Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend rotation and some holidays. No call required. Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery or Acuity Adaptable area preferred. Previous charge experience preferred. Patient ratios typically 1-2, may go up to 3 if acuity is low. Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. Specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients, heart and lung transplants, and various medical devices. Dynamic unit requiring staff to adapt to changing patient needs and acuity levels.
