Account Coordinator / Inside Sales

The Account Coordinator / Inside Sales professional supports sales operations by managing quotes, order processing, project coordination, and customer account support for assigned accounts. This role acts as a key liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to ensure accurate execution, strong customer satisfaction, and ongoing sales growth. The position offers a clear pathway into inside sales and account management for a motivated candidate.

Responsibilities

• Manage quotes, sales orders, order fulfillment, and post-sale support for assigned customer accounts.
• Provide accurate pricing for standard products and previously sold solutions in alignment with sales strategies.
• Support territory sales goals through proactive planning, forecasting, and consistent follow-up activities.
• Prospect and assist in developing new accounts, dedicating approximately 10-20% of time to new business development.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM data, account records, and sales reports to support visibility and decision-making.
• Track order status, project milestones, and installation timelines to ensure on-time delivery and project completion.
• Send timely order confirmations and acknowledgments to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, handling service and warranty requests and ensuring prompt resolution.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Finance, Service, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate execution of orders and projects.
• Participate in client calls, meetings, trade shows, and occasional site visits, supporting relationship building and sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer needs and align solutions with account strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes by identifying opportunities to streamline quoting, order management, and customer communication.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors degree.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Inside sales aptitude with interest in developing into an inside sales or account management role.
• Account management and customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing quotes, orders, and account records.
• Ability to collaborate with Operations, Finance, Service, and Logistics to drive successful project execution.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Recent college graduate who is eager to learn and grow into an inside sales or account management role.
• Comfort with CRM systems and maintaining detailed account and sales information.
• Experience or coursework related to business, sales, marketing, or customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to participate in client calls, meetings, trade shows, and occasional site visits as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to planning, forecasting, and follow-up.
• Interest in supporting sales growth through both existing account management and new account development.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role is based in an office environment, and the Account Coordinator / Inside Sales professional will have their own dedicated office area. The work setting is fast-paced and cross-functional, with regular collaboration across Operations, Finance, Service, Logistics, and Sales teams. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits. Standard professional office attire is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitestown, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
