Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Mechanical HVAC Engineer – Cincinnati, OH Join a growing MEP consulting firm as a Mechanical HVAC Engineer and help design innovative, energy-efficient building systems for commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Design HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects. Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment selection. Develop construction drawings and specifications. Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams. Conduct site visits and support construction administration. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industry standards. Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams throughout project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of HVAC design experience in an MEP consulting environment preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC design software. Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, mechanical codes, and building systems. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required. Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment.
