Responsibilities Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight Giving injections of medication Immunizations Taking medical histories Entering information into computer systems Keeping medical records current masz Qualifications LPN License/Medical Assistant Certification Strong communication and people skills Ability to work well with others Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards.
