As a Baker at Muffin House Cafe, you are responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods including muffins, pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads, ensuring every product meets our standards for taste, consistency and presentation. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish muffins, pastries, cakes, cookies, breads, and other daily items
• Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency and quality
• Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support smooth operations 
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for ingredients and supplies
• Properly store ingredients and finished products
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times

Qualifications 

• Previous baking experience required
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and work independently
• Strong attention to detail, time management, multitasking skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule  

• Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
