Certified Public Accountant for AI Tax Compliance Training

Role Overview

Provide specialist US tax law analysis and legal interpretation to support a client project that trains next-generation AI systems. You will analyze and annotate statutory and regulatory text, review IRS materials and individual Form 1040 returns, and produce clear, accurate written outputs that inform model training and downstream users. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, interpret, and annotate sections of the Internal Revenue Code and related US Treasury Regulations, with attention to nuanced statutory language and exceptions.
Review and assess US tax legal documents and IRS source materials for technical accuracy and correct application of statutory rules.
Evaluate individual tax returns, Form 1040, in the context of current IRS guidance and regulations.
Draft concise summaries and explanatory notes that make complex tax law concepts accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.
Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or potential areas of confusion within legal documents or IRS materials.
Collaborate through digital platforms, delivering high-quality written content and clear verbal communication of findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Active Certified Public Accountant (India) qualification.
Demonstrable expertise in US tax law, including strong familiarity with the Internal Revenue Code and US Treasury Regulations.
Experience with legal document review and statutory interpretation.
Proven experience reviewing or preparing US individual tax returns, Form 1040.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical legal language into clear explanations.
Detail-oriented approach, able to identify and articulate statutory exceptions and regulatory nuances.

Work Terms

Engagement type: Independent contractor.
Location: Remote, based in India only.
Project focus: US tax compliance and legal interpretation to support model training and other client deliverables.
Collaboration and deliverables will be handled via digital platforms, requiring clear written submissions and occasional verbal communication.

Compensation

Pay range: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Eligibility

Must hold an active Certified Public Accountant (India) qualification.
Demonstrable knowledge of US tax law, the Internal Revenue Code, US Treasury Regulations, and IRS compliance requirements.
Must be located in India and able to work remotely as an independent contractor.
No prior experience in AI is required; domain expertise in tax law is the primary qualification.
