Our office values professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate patient service. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.Must have availability for our hours. Hours include:Monday 9-7Tuesday and Thursday 8-5Wednesdays 8-6Fridays 8-4 (occasional) Position Summary:The Medical Assistant will support both providers in clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient office operations and excellent patient care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Room patients and obtain medical histories and chief complaintsAssist providers with examinations and in-office proceduresPrepare and sterilize instruments and treatment roomsPerform basic clinical tasks such as dressing changes and cast removalManage patient flow and ensure timely appointmentsHandle electronic medical records (EMR) documentation accuratelyAssist with scheduling, phone calls, and front desk support as neededVerify insurance and obtain prior authorizations when requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environmentQualifications:Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (podiatry or specialty practice preferred) is preferred but not requiredCertification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not requiredKnowledge of medical terminology and clinical proceduresExperience with EMR systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a small team and support multiple providersDependable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
