Lead Teacher (Infant Room) Full Time Professional Palmyra, ME, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1191 Hometown Health Center Childcare Program Hometown Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This role leads classroom operations, supports assistant teachers, and partners closely with families to support infant growth and care. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Lead and support classroom staff Communicate daily with families through the Procare app Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations Participate in required trainings, meetings, and DHHS requirements Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old CDA, Maine-approved credential, or qualifying childcare/college experience High school diploma or equivalent required CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Must pass DHHS background checks Registered with Maine Roads to Quality or willing to become registered Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Join a supportive childcare team dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centered infant care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hometown Health Center
