Shift/Hours: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday and every 3rd Saturday)
Pay Rate: $17hr
Location: Angleton, TX
Experience: 2+ years experience
We have an immediate opening for a Scale Clerk to work at our client's site in Angleton, TX. In this position you will be checking trucks in and out of our location and also perform other basic administrative duties. You will be in constant communication with the management team. Must have strong computer skills and be very detailed and organized. This is a very fast paced position which does include working in all weather conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station.
- Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.
- Calculate payments for customers, Billing, and some data Entry.
- Ensure incoming loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.
- Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Assist with scheduling Equipment Services
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Must have flexible availability to include some Saturdays
- Proficiency in Spanish & English a plus.
