Physician Ophthalmology - Competitive Salary

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate  Ophthalmologist to join our growing healthcare network. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, providing comprehensive eye care, and performing surgical procedures when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and vision problems
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, or contact lenses as needed
• Perform surgical procedures related to eye conditions (if applicable)
• Provide patient education on eye health and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within our network

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited  Ophthalmology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
• Valid Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
