Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Assume responsibility for unit-level care coordination and patient safety
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff under supervision

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
• Familiarity with resource management in an acute care or labor and delivery setting
