Registered Nurse, Operating RoomARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Flexible Shifts) in Devils Lake, North Dakota.Location: Devils Lake, NDAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/Shift: The hours can be flexible, with options for 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. There is no call during the weekend and only call during weekdays, specifically for c-sections.Job DescriptionThe OR Circulator/Scrub Nurse provides safe, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases. The role entails functioning effectively as both the circulating and scrub nurse, coordinating patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and advocating for patient safety. The nurse collaborates with the surgical team to promote positive patient outcomes and demonstrates proficiency across various surgical specialties.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate patient care and maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.Document surgical procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Establish and maintain sterile fields, prepare instruments and supplies, and anticipate surgeon needs.Participate in emergency and trauma procedures as required.Assist with inventory management and quality improvement initiatives.Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to fluctuating surgical volumes and staffing needs.Required ExperienceCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.Background in a rural healthcare setting preferred.Travel experience is required.Experience with c-sections, hand cases, podiatry, and cataracts.Certifications/LicensureCurrent BLS certification; ACLS and PALS as required by facility.ND or compact license with no disciplinary hits allowed.Demonstrated competency in both circulating and scrub roles.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
