Physician Assistant

SpineSearch is partnering with a well-established spine practice seeking a Physician Assistant to join its spine surgery team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a combination of clinic and OR responsibilities, working closely with spine surgeons and supporting patients throughout their care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Combination of clinic and operating room responsibilities
• Must be flexible to work across New Jersey, NYC, and Brooklyn
• Hours may vary depending on the provider and surgical schedule
• No call schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist spine surgeons in both the clinic and OR
• Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient setting
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
• Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
• Assist with surgical procedures and provide perioperative patient care
• Conduct pre- and post-operative evaluations
• Review imaging, diagnostic testing, and medical records
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and postoperative care
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and patients
• Complete appropriate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license/certification eligible to practice in New York and New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interest in spine surgery, orthopedics, or neurosurgery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in both clinical and surgical environments
• Flexibility to travel between NYC, Brooklyn, and New Jersey locations
