Beverage Server - $14/Hour + Tips

Casino Server Position

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to all guests, including taking orders, suggestive selling, serving beverages, and clearing tables. This position is instrumental in creating an environment and executing service that blows our guests away. The Servers Casino Service must continually seek opportunities to create memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and building relationships.

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Rockford their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
• Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.
• Completes all required set-up duties on time.
• Always keeps station clean.
• Promotes positive customer relations.
• Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guests' checks.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

• Attend seminars when needed.

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

High school diploma or equivalent required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):

• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGB Badge when working.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must have good oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills must include a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude, common courtesy towards others and the ability to deal successfully with stressful situations.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds frequently throughout shift.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have the ability to withstand noisy environments.
