Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Adheres to rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.**Job Title:** Oncology Technician PRN **Minimum Education Level:** High School Diploma/GED **Minimum Field of Study:** Nursing **Minimum Education Notes:** **Preferred Education Level:** **Preferred Field of Study:** **Preferred Education Notes:** **Licensure Certification Needed:** Yes **Minimum Licensure:** Basic Life Support (BLS)Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Other (If other, please enter details in section to the right) **Minimum Licensure (Other):** CNA not required for students who have completed nursing fundamental course and are actively enrolled in nursing program (LPN, ASN, ADN, BSN). Must submit transcripts to department manager a minimum of twice per calendar year. Must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX-PN, schedule and pass the test within 90 days of graduation from nursing program, as appropriate. **Training Required:** -Successful completion of Moffitt’s Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment. - Basic familiarity with nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology. - Fundamental computer skills. - Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills. **Salary Range**$21.50 - $21.50*Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
