Department 10015 Information Resources Pay Range $103,812.80 - $173,035.20 The Interface Architect I serves as a key member of the HSCSN application and integration team, delivering interface and interoperability solutions that support health plan operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders across the health plan, this role develops, maintains, and supports integrations that enable the secure and reliable exchange of data between core business systems, external partners, and enterprise platforms. The successful candidate combines strong technical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of healthcare data, systems integration, and interoperability standards, and collaborates effectively with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data quality, operational efficiency, and organizational performance. Experience with healthcare payer operations, interface technologies, APIs, and healthcare data exchange standards is preferred; experience with Epic technologies is a plus.The Interface Architect I is responsible for designing and implementing interface solutions to facilitate seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems and applications. This role plays a critical part in enhancing interoperability, optimizing data flows, and supporting the successful implementation of clinical and revenue cycle applications. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Information Technology degree (Required) Or Minimum Work Experience 1 year At least one year of interface architecture experience, or 1-3 years of Application Analyst experience, with focused experience on interface testing. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Work involves some problem-solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying the organization's policies and procedures Basic understanding of healthcare and revenue cycle workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in healthcare interface technologies and tools. An experienced problem solver, capable of analyzing complex interface requirements and designing scalable and reliable solutions. Collaborative and communicative, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather interface needs and effectively convey technical concepts. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring data integrity and security across interfaces. A proactive learner, staying abreast of the latest healthcare industry standards and interface best practices. Functional Accountabilities Design and develop interface solutions using relevant technologies and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather interface requirements and specifications. Ensure data integrity and security across interfaces, adhering to industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues and performance bottlenecks. Manage domain copies and refreshes, coordinating testing and scheduling activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare industry standards and interface best practices. Document interface architecture, processes, and design patterns. The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy.
