As a member of our team, you'll gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry and benefit from a supportive environment that fosters personal and professional growth.Why This Role Is ValuableThe Quantitative Developer will help with the implementation of efficiency-improving solutions for the assessment of residential real estate equity and debt investments.How You Add ValueAnalyzing investment data, making detailed inferences or attributionsAssessing complex financial models for opportunities to make efficiency improvementsUsing the latest technology tools to improve the efficiency and/or reduce the complexity of financial workflowsTranslating pieces of Excel models into C# code for usage on a website applicationWhat You Bring To The RoleRequired:Minimum of 5 years experienceThe candidate should have a strong background and familiarity with at least one type of real estate equity and/or debt investment, such as REITs, CMBS, RMBS, and/or whole loan tradingThis position requires candidates to have three main pillars of professional skill:Writing code in an object-orientated coding languageManipulating various type of database data using SQLWorking with complex Excel workbooksThe main object-oriented coding language used in this position is C#, however experience with Java/C++/Python and a willingness to learn C# is acceptableDatabase data is primarily housed within Microsoft SQL databases, though some data is found in Snowflake data warehouses. Being a strong user of either T-SQL, Oracle SQL, or Snowflake SQL is required, though the candidate must be willing to primarily use Microsoft T-SQLPreferred:A college degree or higher in a STEM fieldMaster’s degrees and PhD-holders welcome but not requiredCandidates with a combination of strong technology skills and deep finance knowledgeAny experience with web development would be favored but is not requiredBase Compensation Range:$110,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position.
