Class A Route Delivery Driver

Company Overview CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) provides freight services across the Western and Central United States. Job Summary CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety‑first mindset to join our dynamic team. The position is a Route Delivery Driver in which you will operate a company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading freight, completing required paperwork, and maintaining vehicle inspections. Essential Job Duties Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections. Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations and terminals as instructed. Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection. Load and unload a wide variety of freight onto and off the company motor vehicle, using or not using mechanical assistance depending on freight size. Minimum Requirements Valid Class A CDL. At least 21 years of age. Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience. No DUI or DWI in the past 3 years. No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them; renewals reimbursable. Successful completion of a pre‑employment skills assessment. Physical Demands Frequent entry and exit of the cab of a commercial vehicle. Ability to safely maneuver freight/pallets up to 2,500 pounds onto a dolly or cart with up to 130 pounds of force with mechanical aid. Ability to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet. Ability to hook and unhook various commercial combinations; lower and raise landing gear; operate fifth wheel release levers; lock and release pintle-hooks; attach and release safety chains; open and close cargo doors; climb into and out of vehicles; fuel and check oil/coolant levels.
