Recruiter

Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization in the healthcare and human services space , is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support ongoing hiring needs across the organization.

This individual will manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, with a strong emphasis on high-volume, frontline, direct-care, clinical, and operational hiring. The Contract Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and Human Resources to manage recruiting priorities, develop candidate pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from intake through offer.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate profiles.

• Recruit for direct-care, nursing, clinical, administrative, professional, and operational positions.

• Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates.

• Screen candidates for experience, qualifications, and organizational fit.

• Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring teams.

• Build strong pipelines for high-volume and frequently hired positions.

• Utilize job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, community partnerships, and other sourcing channels.

• Provide hiring managers with market insights and recommendations to improve recruiting results.

• Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate information within the ATS.

• Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

• Support recruiting events and additional talent acquisition initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.

• Full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.

• Healthcare, nonprofit, human services, behavioral health, senior living, or direct-care recruiting experience preferred.

• Experience recruiting hourly and frontline employees.

• Strong sourcing and candidate pipeline development skills.

• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and HR leaders.

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and recruiting tools.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple openings and changing priorities.

• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Chicago, On-Site

• Pay: $40/hr
