Clinical Role

Join an established and busy inpatient cardiology service in Canton, Ohio, providing general cardiology coverage following the loss of a full-time provider. This 13-week locums opportunity includes weekday hospital rounding, new cardiology consultations, follow-up care for hospitalized patients, EKG interpretation, weekend call, and generally one weeknight of call.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Practice Setting:

Inpatient Hospital

Patient Volume:

Census varies based on hospital volume; this is a very busy cardiology service.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Round on hospitalized cardiology patients
• Evaluate new cardiology consultations
• Follow up with established in-house patients
• Interpret EKGs as needed
• Provide general cardiology management
• Coordinate care with APPs and hospital teams
• Participate in weeknight and weekend call coverage

The locum provider will work within an established inpatient cardiology team with significant APP support.

Requirements

• Board Certified Cardiovascular Medicine - Required
• Active Ohio Medical License - Required
• IMLC welcome
