Job Title: Engineering Technician – 1st & 3rd Shift Location: Manchester, NH Hourly Rate: $26.00 – $31.00/hr (depending on experience and shift) Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 6:30 AM Position Overview Top Prospect Group is seeking Engineering Technicians to provide direct technical support to Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This role is hands‑on within a cleanroom manufacturing environment and plays a critical role in supporting process yield, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Serve as the accountable technical team member for process yield performance within an assigned production area. Provide direct, hands‑on technical support for manufacturing issues within a cleanroom environment. Support productivity and throughput improvement projects to achieve target process run rates. Perform hands‑on failure analysis and investigate process nonconformities. Deliver clear and detailed documentation and report‑outs regarding technical investigations and findings. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop and implement process improvements. Design, develop, and fabricate simple manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams on engineering projects. Support change management activities including validation documentation, engineering studies, work instructions, and other technical documentation. Qualifications & Skills 1+ years of experience in a technical, hands‑on problem‑solving role within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device experience preferred). Demonstrated troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and/or structured problem‑solving methodologies. Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross‑functionally. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
