Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Banker for a direct hire opportunity in Millbrae, CA. This role is ideal for a banking professional with hands-on account-opening experience who enjoys building client relationships, identifying financial needs, and recommending products that support customers’ goals.

As a Banker, you will work closely with consumer and business clients while supporting daily branch operations. Key Responsibilities

- Open and manage consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, Trusts, and Estate accounts.
- Provide consultative financial solutions by actively listening to client needs and recommending appropriate banking products.
- Support teller transactions as needed while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and compliance.
- Respond to client inquiries efficiently and deliver a high level of customer service.
- Identify opportunities to support branch growth through new business development and relationship-building.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and banking regulations, including BSA requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $20 to $31 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Open and maintain consumer and business deposit accounts.
- Support teller operations and assist with accurate transaction processing.
- Build client relationships through consultative banking conversations.
- Recommend banking products and services aligned with customer needs.

- 2+ years of banking experience, including hands-on account-opening expertise.
- Strong background in teller operations and customer service.
- Experience with consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, Trusts, and Estate accounts.
- Ability to identify client needs and provide solutions through consultative sales.
- Knowledge of banking compliance and regulatory requirements, including BSA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using core banking systems.
- Strong communication, organization, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting both consumer and business banking clients.
- Familiarity with branch growth initiatives, client retention, and new business development.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented branch environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compliance.
