Job Summary:

As a Lead Caregiver CNA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the care they need, even when their regularly scheduled caregiver is unable to provide it. As a leader in our care team, you will not only provide care to clients but also assist with on-the-job training and peer mentoring to help develop the skills of new members of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill shifts which are open due to a "call-off" from current caregivers

• Fulfill shifts of new cases where a permanent solution has yet been determined

• Start of care with new clients where caregivers have yet to be assigned

• Provide field training to new caregivers and quality check-in visits on cases recommended by the Client Care Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

• C.N.A. certification is required

• 3+ years as a Caregiver preferred

• Dementia-related caregiving experience preferred

• Reliable and efficient

• Takes Initiative to improve care

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written

• Strong and efficient problem-solver and multi-tasker

• Reliable car and up-to-date auto insurance

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Work Environment:

• Work weekdays, with occasional weekend shifts

• Travel up to 45 minutes from our office is required

• Valid driver's license, vehicle, and car insurance is a must

Compensation:

• $18 hourly, plus mileage after traveling more than 25 miles to and from home

• Guaranteed pay for 35 hours a week at minimum, even if not placed on shifts provided
