The Role Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor, the CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials. Requirements Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items Maintain production rates according to established standards. Notify Supervisor with any problems of procedures or equipment. Performs set-ups and operate CNC Lathe Machine Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. Maintain high awareness of safety procedures. Customer Focus Ownership for Performance Shared Commitment Job Specific Competencies Capable of using a micrometer, calipers, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints Skilled on an overhead crane Can read and Edit “G” Code Programming Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 3 years experience operating CNC lathes Physical Requirements As required to individually perform Key Result items. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
