Sourcing Specialist I

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
• Support sourcing activities including RFQ preparation and vendor communication, to include: organize
supplier response, populate comparison matrices, and prepare award recommendations
• Maintain supplier databases and procurement records
• Conduct basic market research, spend analytics and supplier benchmarking to inform category decisions
• Request and coordinate the creation of purchase orders with purchasing team
• Track supplier performance metrics
• Assist in sourcing initiatives analysis and reporting
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring and documentation
• Learn and apply Victaulic's sourcing policies, supplier code of conduct, and contract administration
standards

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
