We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Specialist at our Germantown, TN clinic . Previous experience in medical records is required, and knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.

Snapshot of Daily Duties:

• Update patients' electronic health records (EHR).
• Respond to requests for the release of information (ROI) for medical records.
• Validate requests and authorizations for releasing medical information.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation of services provided to our patients.
• Prepare charts for patient visits.
• Adhere to company policy regarding the release and acquisition of medical records.
• Run patient recall reports and provide physicians with a list of recalls.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in medical records required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
