Maintenance Technician

We put you first: Salary range for Maintenance Technician from $25.85/hr to $30.62/hr (based on skills, experience and education) Schedule : Monday to Friday 7h00-15h00 Boot and/or tool allowance Telemedicine, Group insurance Financial Benefits: Profit Sharing Plan, Retirement Plan with company matching, Stock Options & Annual flexible reimbursement program Employee assistance program (because we care about the physical and mental health of our people) Develop your talents By applying your expertise within our facility in Tacoma, as the Maintenance Technician: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment Perform necessary mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs Conduct daily maintenance and safety audits Communicate effectively with maintenance team members, leadership, and production staff Complete and maintain accurate maintenance documentation Enter and track maintenance activities (Work Orders) within SAP Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives Follow all Food Safety requirements in accordance with the HACCP Plan Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness in alignment with 5S standards Perform all duties in a safe and compliant manner Carry out additional duties as assigned by management There's nobody quite like you! Respect your true nature by putting forward your strengths: Experience in a manufacturing or large industrial maintenance environment required Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience Working knowledge of PLC systems (troubleshooting and basic diagnostics preferred) Experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement About Cascades Cascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
