The Assistant Retail Manager at Where Ya Bin supports the Retail Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, team performance, and customer experience. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role that plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, supporting staff, and upholding company standards.The Assistant Retail Manager works closely with the Retail Manager to ensure daily store success, stepping in to lead when needed and helping drive a positive, accountable, and high-energy store culture.About Us:Where Ya Bin Stores is a unique shopping experience that will live up to your savings expectations! Each week, we purchase truckloads of overstocked goods from the largest online retailers across America! Each week we receive thousands of different items with an "everything must go" pricing model. Our pricing begins at $10 on Fridays and descends daily until it's only $0.25 on Thursdays! This is so the bins can be emptied entirely and fully restocked with updated merchandise the following week. At Where Ya Bin, we have an ever-changing inventory!We aspire to pass the savings along to the customer first by always making their experience the top priority from our leadership, processes, managers, and team members, Where Ya Bin intends to revolutionize the world of retail and provide a value-conscious shopping experience for everyone!Responsibilities: Responsibilities include supporting the Retail Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring company policies are followed. The role requires maintaining a professional presence on the sales floor, assisting customers and team members, and supporting tasks such as bin flips, cleaning, stocking, and staging.This position also helps with scheduling, timekeeping, payroll accuracy, reporting, and maintaining employee records. Additional duties include promoting accountability and safety, addressing maintenance needs, supporting weekly marketing tasks, assisting with training, and adapting quickly to resolve daily operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:Candidates should have prior retail leadership or supervisory experience, along with strong organizational skills and close attention to detail. The role requires the ability to assist with scheduling, labor management, and payroll processes, while remaining comfortable in a physically active, hands-on position on the sales floor.Strong communication skills are essential, as the position involves collaboration with management, HR, Logistics, Marketing, and Leadership teams. Applicants must be willing to work required hours, including Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, and possess basic computer proficiency with scheduling and reporting systems.
