BEA Hardware Applications Engineer II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a BEA Hardware Applications Engineer II to develop technical solutions for bioprocess equipment and automation proposals within the Single-Use Technologies Division. The role involves collaborating across commercial, product, and R&D teams to deliver optimal customer solutions and drive continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions and proposals in response to customer inquiries across bioprocess equipment and automation
- Coordinate technical pipeline reviews with commercial project managers and technical sales to ensure timely responses
- Collaborate with Product Management to align technical solutions with business targets and margin goals
- Drive continuous improvement of proposal systems and internal processes to enhance team efficiency
- Learn all BEA hardware products and equipment to ensure comprehensive understanding of solutions offered
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline strongly preferred
- Associate's degree in science or technical discipline required
- 3+ years experience with programming, data entry, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience supporting technical sales teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities for matrix environment
- Experience with biotechnology equipment and consumable offerings preferred
