IT Operations Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Operations Associate based in United States.

This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for a diverse portfolio of mission-driven clients. You will be the operational backbone for onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing technical support across multiple organizations, acting as a trusted extension of their internal teams.
The position is highly client-facing, requiring clear communication across email, Slack, and virtual meetings in fast-paced environments.
You will help maintain and improve critical IT workflows, ensuring employees have seamless access to tools and systems from day one.
The role combines structured operational execution with continuous process improvement across multiple client environments.
You will work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure security, efficiency, and consistency in IT operations.
This is a remote-first position that requires strong ownership, responsiveness, and attention to detail in a high-trust, service-oriented setting.

Accountabilities:

• Execute and support end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees across multiple client organizations, ensuring secure and efficient access management.
• Manage IT procurement requests, coordinating hardware and software needs in alignment with client policies and operational standards.
• Provide frontline IT operational support via email, Slack, and ticketing systems, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution of requests.
• Maintain and update IT operations documentation, including client-specific playbooks, procedures, and process guides.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination between IT, HR, and Operations functions.
• Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement of workflows, systems, and service delivery processes.
• Assist in delivering cybersecurity and data security training sessions in collaboration with senior team members.
• Track, document, and manage support requests to ensure accountability, transparency, and service quality across client accounts.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or operations support role, ideally within IT support, service desk, or technical operations environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across email, Slack, and video conferencing tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes while also contributing to process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to new systems, tools, and technical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset focused on user experience.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and operational workflows is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
