Provide operational support for assigned areas of responsibility, focusing on enhancing patient access and streamlining workflows. Manage and mentor a dynamic team of support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Play a crucial role in improving provider schedules, optimizing patient access, and tracking key metrics. Key Responsibilities Supervise a team of support staff, ensuring adherence to department policies and Legacy's attendance guidelines. Manage all aspects of work schedules for support staff, including PTO and leave management. Provide direct coverage and EPIC support, becoming an EHRS super-user to train staff effectively. Foster a culture of feedback and collaboration to enhance service delivery. Engage in the recruitment and evaluation process for prospective staff members. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed. Track and analyze performance indicators to identify trends and improve clinic operations. Collaborate with Business Intelligence to develop service line reports. Address patient access issues and streamline scheduling workflows. Monitor provider schedules for efficiency and manage locum and per diem provider coverage. Handle patient complaints and operational metrics across locations. Participate in leadership meetings and present strategic plans for clinic advancement. Establish community partnerships and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Oversee departmental orders, stock supplies, and equipment maintenance. Engage in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance service line quality. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Certifications/licenses as applicable to their area of responsibility. Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting or service industry. Two (2) years of experience in administration and supervision of staff preferred. Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities. Above average organizational skills and computer skills. Job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
