Join a small critical access hospital in Texas as a Gastroenterologist for a full-time locums position starting in November. This role involves a mix of clinic and hospital-based procedure days, focusing on general GI cases with no advanced procedures or call requirements. The hospital is seeking a dedicated physician to provide ongoing coverage due to a vacancy. Practice Info ~ Small critical access hospital ~25 beds ~ Level 4 Trauma Center ~ EMR: EPIC ~ Support staff: 2 NPs ~ Collaborative and high volume work environment Responsibilities Work a mix of clinic and hospital-based procedure days Perform general GI procedures See 20-25 clinic patients per day Handle 15-17 procedures on procedure days Benefits ~ Top-rated malpractice insurance ~ Full-service in-house travel agency ~ Credentialing coordinators ~24/7 recruiter availability Shift & Schedule ~ Full-time weekdays ~1-2 days in clinic + 3-4 days of procedures weekly ~ Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ~ No call requirements Requirements General GI No advanced procedures required Active Texas license required IMLC preferred
