Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local outpatient healthcare provider in Alamogordo, NM. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The position involves providing respiratory care across patient populations including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and participating in emergency response and advanced respiratory procedures as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC required.
• RT or RCP state license in good standing with the New Mexico licensing board required.
• BLS certification (AHA only) required.
• Experience with ventilator management, airway management (including endotracheal suctioning), oxygen delivery devices, blood gas collection and analysis, and EKG analysis.
• Ability to respond to emergency codes and provide airway support including BiPAP and CPAP management.
• Experience in outpatient or acute care settings preferred. One to three years of clinical experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assist, hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, nocturnal SpO2 evaluation, or polysomnography preferred.
• Previous shift leader or team leader experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Work schedule: Full Time.
• May be required to perform transport duties and support multiple clinical areas within the facility.
