Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.
- Monitor vitals, telemetry data, and patient status; perform ongoing assessments and update care plans.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders, including Cardizem and insulin drips for appropriate conditions; manage telemetry-specific therapies as ordered.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and communicate changes to physicians and families.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure safety, infection control, and quality standards are met.
- Prepare patients for discharge, including patient and family education and coordination with case management as needed.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in New Hampshire or a compact state at time of submission.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a Med Surg Tele or related setting; travel experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia exam with 80% on onboarding; Nursys license verification required for active licenses.
- RTO (special leave) must be requested and included at submission.
- EMR experience; Cerner preferred but not required; comfortable with Cardizem and insulin drips; may work with Phenobarbital on Telemetry.
- Willingness to float to related units within the system as needed.
