POSITION SUMMARY

\n

The Sales & Education Manager will drive brand performance across Sephora stores in the North Midwest and Midwest market. This is a field-based, sales-driven role focused on in-store execution, events, education, and strong partnership with store teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is motivated by delivering measurable business results.

This is a highly hands-on, in-store role for someone who thrives on the Sephora floor—driving results through selling, educating store teams, executing events, and building strong partnerships.

\n

RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

In-Store Execution & Sales

\n

\n
• Spend the majority of time in Sephora stores driving sales performance
\n
• Actively sell and support clients with strong product knowledge and artistry
\n
• Lead by example in achieving daily and weekly sales goals (sales, rank, productivity)
\n
• Drive UPT through add-ons and client engagement
\n

\n

\n

Events & Activations

\n

\n
• Execute in-store events (FSCs, takeovers, EIBs) with a focus on sales results
\n
• Support event planning and identify high-impact opportunities within the market
\n
• Ensure strong ROI on all activations through performance tracking
\n
• Partner with Regional Manager on event strategy and door prioritization
\n

\n

\n

Sephora Partnership

\n

\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Sephora store leadership and Beauty Advisors
\n
• Act as a brand ambassador within Sephora stores
\n
• Influence BAs to drive brand sales when not present in store
\n

\n

\n

Training & BA Development (Sales-Driven)

\n

\n
• Deliver in-store coaching focused on selling behaviors and conversion
\n
• Educate through selling—demonstrating how to drive results in real time
\n
• Reinforce product knowledge and brand storytelling to support sales growth
\n
• Develop strong BA advocates within key doors
\n

\n

\n

Territory Ownership (Account Executive Focus)

\n

\n
• Own performance across assigned doors, including sales, rank, and productivity
\n
• Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to drive results
\n
• Partner with Regional Manager on business planning and performance reviews
\n
• Analyze store performance and adjust approach based on business needs
\n

\n

\n

Operations & Communication

\n

\n
• Provide feedback on store performance, stock levels, and opportunities
\n
• Proactively communicate risks and opportunities to leadership
\n
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with Regional Manager
\n

\n

\n

REQUIREMENTS

\n

\n
• Prior experience working within the Sephora environment
\n
• Must have reliable transportation
\n
• Open availability, including evenings and weekends (Friday–Sunday priority)
\n
• Ability to work retail hours, including shifts up to 9 PM
\n
• Ability to travel within the Greater Chicago area (field-based role)
\n
• Ability to lift items up to 75lbs
\n
• Proven ability to drive sales in-store (this is a selling-first role)
\n
• Comfortable working on the sales floor the majority of the time
\n
• Open to coaching, feedback, and accountability
\n
• Strong work ethic with a hands-on, team-first mindset
\n
• Ability to focus on in-store executions
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n
• Previous experience working in a Sephora environment (brand, freelance, or store level)
\n
• Strong sales ability with a proven track record of driving in-store results
\n
• Experience executing retail events is strongly preferred
\n
• Ability to build relationships and influence store teams
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
\n
• Passion for beauty, artistry, and client experience
\n
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
\n
