TRAVEL RN – VASCULAR ACCESS

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Vascular Access for a 13-week travel assignment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assess patients for appropriate vascular access needs
• Insert and maintain peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor vascular access devices for complications and ensure proper maintenance
• Educate patients and healthcare staff regarding vascular access care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Respond to vascular access consultations throughout the facility

Requirements

Requirements:
• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
• Recent Vascular Access experience required
• Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills
• Experience with PICC lines and central venous access devices preferred
• BLS Certification
