Design Director

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Design Director for Boys to join their team in NYC! Responsibilities Lead the creative direction and seasonal design strategy for the Boys apparel division across multiple categories Develop trend‑right assortments, color palettes, graphics, prints, and silhouettes that align with brand identity and customer needs Manage and mentor a team of designers, CAD artists, and graphic designers, fostering creativity and collaboration Partner cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, and Sales teams to ensure successful execution from concept through production Conduct competitive shopping, trend research, and market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and category expansion Qualifications 7+ years of design experience within boys apparel, with experience at the Senior Designer or Director level preferred Strong understanding of boys market trends, fabrications, graphics, fit, and category development Proven leadership and team management experience in a fast‑paced apparel environment Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to drive cross‑functional partnerships #J-18808-Ljbffr
