Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor resources effectively to maintain efficient workflow and project progression. Monitor construction site operations to enforce quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance with project specifications. Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address any issues or changes promptly. Participate in site inspections, meetings, and project reviews to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts. Maintain accurate records of construction progress, labor hours, equipment usage, and material deliveries. Support the Superintendent in managing schedules, resolving conflicts, and mitigating risks associated with construction activities. Assist in the training and supervision of field personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and construction best practices. Requirements Minimum of 1 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety standards. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites within Houston and Austin regions.
