Seasonal Tennis Shop Manager

From the first lesson of the morning to the last match of the day our 23 Har-Tru tennis courts and 10 pickleball courts are some of the busiest places at Lake Naomi all summer. The Tennis Shop keeps it all running : the member checking in for a clinic the court schedule on a packed Saturday the new arrivals display that stops members on their way to the courts. If you see all of that as one job and you want to own it wed love to meet you!
The Details
Season: May October 2027
Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays
Reports to: Director of Racquet Sports
Pay: $22 - $25 per hour

What Youll Own
- The member experience: Youre the first face members see and the one they count on whether its a clinic a court time or a weekend event. Youll book reservations lessons and clinics and make every visit feel easy.
- The shop: Your eye shapes the shop. From buying and pricing to displays and end-of-season sales you decide what members see and how its presented.
- The numbers: Youll keep billing daily reconciliations vendor invoices and monthly inventory counts accurate working closely with our accounting team. Clean books are part of great service.
- The team: Youll train schedule and lead the Tennis Shop staff and set the tone for how they treat members and each other.
- The program: Youll partner with our Director of Racquet Sports and teaching pros on tournaments clinics camps and events and help promote it all with signage and flyers.
Youll Thrive Here If You
- Have managed a retail pro shop or hospitality operation or been the one who kept it running
- Know inventory purchasing and point-of-sale and take pride in getting the details right
- Are as comfortable chatting with a member as you are working through a variance report
- Stay calm and organized when the day gets busy and see what needs doing before youre asked
- Are confident in Microsoft Office (Northstar experience is a plus)
- Love tennis or pickleball (a big plus not a must)
