We are a fast-paced, full-service printing company specializing in high-quality printed materials for a wide range of clients. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Prepress Specialist to join our production team.
This position plays a key role in preparing accurate, print-ready files and ensuring smooth workflow through our advanced production systems.

Priority Skill Focus

We’re looking for someone with strong, hands-on experience in Adobe PitStop, Preflighting, and EFI JobFlow.
This is not optional — it’s a core part of the role.
You’ll be responsible for catching and correcting prepress issues before production, managing job automation through EFI JobFlow , and ensuring every file meets professional printing standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout a wide range of printed materials including brochures, business cards, flyers, banners, packaging, and more.

• Preflight and prepare files for digital, offset, and large format printing —ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and correct output settings.

• Use Adobe PitStop to review, correct, and optimize PDFs for production.

• Manage and automate workflows using EFI JobFlow and related prepress tools.

• Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve file issues quickly.

• Conduct quality control checks to verify file accuracy, bleeds, resolution, and print specs.

• Communicate directly with customers when needed to clarify artwork or technical issues.

• Maintain a clean, organized archive of production files for easy retrieval.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in graphic design and prepress , preferably in a commercial print setting.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe PitStop and strong understanding of preflighting best practices.

• Experience with EFI JobFlow or similar workflow automation systems (highly preferred).

• Understanding of color management, trapping, imposition, and file formats (PDF, EPS, etc.).

• Familiarity with digital, offset, and large format printing processes.

• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.

• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RIP or imposition software (e.g., Fiery, Preps).

• Knowledge of variable data printing (VDP).

• Familiarity with prepress equipment and print production environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving ability.
