Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location

Nampa, Idaho

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing diagnoses including Heart Failure, COPD, Sepsis, AFib, Pneumonia, Stroke, detox, and suicidal holds
• Monitor and sign off on telemetry strips using SpaceLabs monitoring system in collaboration with Telemetry Technicians
• Manage patients on set-rate drip medications including Diltiazem, Heparin, Amiodarone, and Lidocaine
• Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow oxygen
• Function within a team nursing model, with the potential to serve as a lead RN supporting other nurses on the floor with medication passes and patient care
• Float as needed to MedSurg on the same campus or to Telemetry units at other campuses in the region

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong team-oriented work ethic and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with SpaceLabs telemetry monitoring systems
• Familiarity with team nursing models and lead RN responsibilities
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed but not required; first-time travelers are accepted
