Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU/CSU) day shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in a cardiac surgical ICU or related specialty.

Details

• Located in a Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU/CSU) within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Meditech (experience not required)

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license, currently in hand — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No hits (past or current) on nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in the cardiac surgical ICU or related specialty
• Documents required for consideration: current driver's license, full SSN, license verification via Nursys, skills checklist, and 2 professional references from within the last year

Additional Information

• All ICU RNs are required to complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test prior to starting
• Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules — no HealthStream modules required prior to start
