Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Weekend Position (Mount Vernon, New York) The Westchester Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our weekend team. The role requires working every weekend or every other weekend. Responsibilities Provide routine nursing care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records and progress notes. Collaborate with therapists and physicians to develop and implement personalized care plans. Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment through excellent communication and teamwork. Qualifications Current LPN licensure in the state of New York. Prior experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation settings. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
