Pay: $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience Monday through Friday schedule Participation in the on call rotation Medical insurance Paid Time Off Reimbursement program Retirement plan Company vehicle Company cell phone Fuel card Consistent residential service and maintenance work across an established customer base Opportunity to work on a wide range of HVAC equipment and systems Long term career opportunity with a growing company Why You’ll Love It Here Family owned and operated company with more than 16 years of service in New Jersey Work for a company built on integrity, loyalty, and quality workmanship Join a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and professional service Apply your technical expertise with the support of an experienced team Work alongside professionals with decades of industry experience Support a company with a strong reputation throughout Northern and Central New Jersey Play an important role in the company's continued growth and success Your New Role Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems Service gas furnaces, boilers, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless mini split systems, water heaters, and zoned systems Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions Identify equipment issues and provide effective repair solutions Install replacement components and complete system repairs according to industry standards Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with homeowners Complete service documentation accurately and professionally Follow all safety procedures, local codes, and company standards Deliver excellent customer service on every call Travel throughout Northern and Central New Jersey to support residential customers Manage service calls efficiently while working independently in the field Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. 6 to 10+ years of residential HVAC service experience Experience servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems Experience with light commercial HVAC systems, including basic knowledge of rooftop units, is preferred Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience working on gas furnaces, boilers, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless mini split systems, water heaters, and zoned systems Knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical components, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently with minimal training or supervision Valid driver's license Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and team members Ability to manage service calls efficiently and maintain accurate service documentation Ability to safely lift equipment and materials as required by the role Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, rooftops, and other residential environments Stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism EPA Certification preferred Relevant HVAC certifications preferred Climate Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
